WHAT WE DO
At Stories In My Backyard (SIMBY), we are dedicated to providing students in predominantly Black Philadelphia middle and high schools access to culturally relevant media arts education led by Black instructors. Our mission is to empower the next generation to tell their own stories through media arts and help close the opportunity gap. Join us in creating a more equitable future.
